If you were in the business of recharging toner cartridges for laser printers this would be an excellent way to find interest buyers. If they are interested in using your service, they can leave a message or you can give your business phone number on the recording so they can call you and place orders. If you are looking for exposure for your products overseas, contact the Department of Commerce and ask for additional information about getting your product or service listed in the "Commercial News USA". You can find the nearest district office located in the Federal listing of the phone book. I've used this service on two occasions with great success. Get Your Product In Mail Order Catalogs! If you have a product or the exclusive rights to a product, mail order companies could move truckloads for you. Just about an product can find a place in a mail order catalog. If it's a novelty item, or something useful around the house, office, or at school, there's consumer catalogs like the ones you probably already get in the mail. If your product is more of a specialized one that might only be of interest to a special group of people, don't worry, there are "trade" mail order catalogs out there for every type product you can imagine. There are directories of catalog companies. You can find them by looking in the library reference department. All you have to do to solicit catalog companies is send a letter on your company letterhead and simply ask if they would be interested in including your product in their catalog. You will also nee to include any descriptive brochures that describe your product. You should also offer to send them a sample upon request. That's all there is to it. If they're interested you'll here from them. At that point you will have to work out discounts and terms. Mail order companies usually work on a 50 to 60 percent off suggested retail. Good luck!
